Geriatric Self Efficacy Index for Urinary Incontinence (GSE-UI)
Summary
What it measures:
Measures the confidence level of adults over the age of 65 in reducing or preventing urinary incontinence (UI). Participants select a 0-10 score for each of the 12 items, with available scores ranging from 0-120. A higher score is indicative of a higher level of self-efficacy related to UI. Test was originally created with a 15 items, but later modified to 12 questions. (Tannenbaum, 2009)
Target Population:
People with urinary incontinence aged 65 or over
