Elise Latawiec, PT, MPH, is lead senior practice management specialist at APTA.

Her primary responsibilities include the development of resources related to all areas of practice management as well as the impacts of health care reform. Before joining APTA she was the national director of quality assurance for the Physical Therapy Provider Network as well as an independent consultant. She was responsible for expansion of the Quality Assurance Program and of the creation, development, and implementation of PTPN’s utilization management, membership standard, and case management programs. She received her master’s degree in public health from the University of California - Los Angeles and completed her undergraduate physical therapy degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
