What it measures:

The Mini-Cog is a tool that is used during systems’ review to identify cognitive impairment in various patient populations.

Target Population:

This summary contains information on use of the Mini-Cog to screen elderly patients for the likelihood of a cognitive impairment and/or delirium.

This test was supported by the Cognitive and Mental Health Special Interest Group of the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy.
