What it measures:

The Alberta Infant Motor Scale (AIMS) assesses gross infant motor skills from ages 0 to 18 months. It evaluates weight-bearing, posture, and antigravity movements of infants.

Target Population:

This summary contains information on the use of the AIMS with infants who are typically developing and those that are developmentally delayed with typical or atypical patterns of movement between the ages of 0 and 18 months.
