There's a lot to be proud of at PTJ: Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal, APTA's scientific publication. In 2022, the journal moved ahead in some important ways by deepening its footprint on social media, increasing the reach of its podcasts, and growing its Journal Impact Factor, which measures the frequency with which PTJ is cited in other journals.

At the same time, PTJ's "continuous publication" format, which allows articles to be posted as they're finalized, is proving to be a success. Access to all PTJ content is free for APTA members.

Here's a look back at the five most-downloaded PTJ articles published in 2022.
