National Advocacy Dinners are an annual event, usually held locally by programs and student groups, to learn about the importance of APTA advocacy and how students can get involved and stay involved throughout their careers.

April 2025 is the focus month for hosting National Advocacy Dinners, though programs are free to host a program at any time during the year. Feel free to get creative and customize it to your program. National Advocacy Dinners can take many forms from a large dinner, to a picnic, café gathering, and more!

Coming soon are resources such as a guide on how to plan a National Advocacy Dinner, table tents for your event, PowerPoint with sample script, customizable promotional flyer, and social media graphics to promote your dinner.
