APTA Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Index for Educators
To support educators in their search for high quality class materials, we have assembled an index of free educational resources listed by health condition. There is also a section that pertains to multiple health conditions.
A Compendium for Teaching Professional Level Physical Therapy Neurologic Content, v. 2016
The purpose of the Compendium is to provide examples of high quality teaching and learning strategies that have been developed and refined by the contributors. Activities may be searched by elements of the patient management model, by pathology, or by type of teaching activity. Activities can be downloaded individually, and educators may freely adapt or adopt the learning activities while providing recognition to the academy and the original authors.
Adaptive Practice Patterns
The practice patterns have been deleted from the APTA Guide to Physical Therapist Practice and are available here for educational purposes only. They have been revised and adapted from Guide to Physical Therapist Practice, ed 2, rev: Neuromuscular (Patterns 5A-5I) (.pdf)
