The Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP) Level 1 and Level 2 courses are available for Credentialed trainers to teach virtually.

A list of guidelines and best practices for teaching the courses in a virtual format are available to trainers on the Hub, along with additional information needed to teach the virtual courses.

The Level 1 and Level 2 courses also have updated versions of the Assessment Center available on the Hub, along with a discussion board for trainers to share with one another any tips and advice on teaching the courses. Positive and negative experiences may also be posted so that others may enjoy or avoid them as well. CCIP staff will monitor the discussion boards in an effort help improve the courses as they move forward.

Course Fees

APTA course registration fees for virtual courses are as follows:

Level 1: $100/member, $200/nonmember.*
Level 2: $100/member, $225/nonmember.*

* Included as part of APTAs course registration fee are the course manual, Assessment Center, CI credential (PTs and PTAs only) and CEU certificate(s), CI credential pin, and registry in an APTA database. Additional fees by the sponsoring organization may apply to cover course related expenses.

In addition to the Level 1 and Level 2 courses now being available virtually, trainers, participants, and sponsors will now use the CCIP online system to create course offerings, submit course registrations, and make registration payments.

Should you have questions or concerns about the virtual courses or the online system, please send them to CCIP staff at ccip@apta.org.

We look forward to assisting trainers with coordinating virtual Level 1 and Level 2 courses, and thank you for your continued contributions to the profession.
