Lois Douthitt is senior director of member communications at APTA, where she contributes to the strategic development and implementation of the association’s overall communications and publications. Before joining APTA in 2000, she was director of publications at the American Gas Association. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She earned her bachelor’s degree, with a double major in English and communications, from George Mason University.
