Some people who have been infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 can experience long-term effects from their infection. The condition has come to be known as long COVID.

There is no test to diagnose long COVID, and because people may display a wide variety of symptoms, it can be difficult for a physical therapist to even know a patient is feeling the effects.
