Despite living in different countries and health systems, physical therapists in Colombia and Peru are facing the same challenges as physical therapists in the United States. This discussion features Nancy Molina, president of the Colombian Physical Therapy Association, Gabriela Mallma, president of the Peruvian Physical Therapy Association and Ana Herrera, PT in Peru. Both presidents describe how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected their countries, the response of each government, and how PTs are challenged by insufficient PPE and other difficulties to providing services. They also describe how PTs are finding innovative ways to care for their communities. The discussion is in Spanish and English.
