HOD P06‐19‐51‐57: It is the position of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) that licensure of physical therapists and licensure or certification of physical therapist assistants is required in and by all United States jurisdictions to achieve public protection and consumer transparency for individuals who access physical therapist services.
